In retrospect, pros and cons of our beloved TBird (I've yet to hear of a perfect bike)! Though topics won't apply to all, it's a great article on a destined Classic....

Thunderbird's debut. "The 2010 Triumph Thunderbird's wings have shapeshifted into a massive parallel-twin motor. Triumph's Thunderbird is Harley-Davidson's worst nightmare. If there's such a thing as a slayer of giants or, in this case, a Harley killer, then the 2010 Triumph Thunderbird is the spearhead and the first that really could matter." sounds like this was written by someone (a journalist ?) that had no real idea. 78000k and 10 years of owning my Bird only ever had a belt squeak until I sussed out the adjustment. the Tyre wear is just a nature of the Beast not had any other issues changed my hoses once still running original cables (have spares), just make sure you do your maintenance. I did have the clacking noise for a little while but that stopped when I sussed out the belt adjustment, it came from belt on front Pulley.

I didn't know our model thunderbird had a petcock
I think some of these problems are taken from the older2000 model tbird

Remember, soft cocks hang around all life long, hard ones come and go

My fav line was near the end, "...you'll notice something missing..."
Yeah, the massive vibration of a sideways V-twin.
