Had one once!!!...it had all of the panels removed and Daytona (the older model Daytona I'm talking) guards, headlight and the seat. Megaphone mufflers.Paintjob was metallic blue with silver pinstriping and a full house 500 installed. Went thru the standing quarter at 107mph!!..Laying on the tank with your head down by those gauges, clip ons to hang on to, made things interesting....used to lay some good rubber strips too!..had to tighten the chain a lot afterwards tho!...I WAS THE MAN!!...in my young eyes anyway! haha.

That's about $14,500.00 US. Dealers here wish they could sell a 2013 TBird for that. Barely used 2013 ABS is about $7,000.00 US.

I like the look of that Silver Thruxton. It would be a nice 2d bike. I wouldn't want to tour on it though.

I wouldnt mind taking the Guzzi V9 for a squirt. I havent even seen one in the flesh yet, they just came out this year. Mind you Guzzi better get cracking on the V12 now, if they want a slice of the new T120 market.
