Anybody got some installed? Did they require any additional mods such as changes to the brake lines, etc.?

Link

Looks like this Aussie company makes nice product.

Found them via photo of a Gold Coast T-bird that showed up on my fb feed today via Triumph Worldwide Cruisers.

TBirds have 4 3/4'' on center riser pattern, I doubt any of those bars fit unless the company makes them specifically for TBirds, Harleys have 2 widths, 3 1/2 & 4 1/2 FOR springers, everybody makes them for Harleys, they don't fit TBirds.

When I was looking for bars last year I couldn't find any company that had 4 3/4 riser pattern bars on the shelf, I had no choice but to have them made, I went with www.brcustomcycles.com located near Buffalo NY, Take a look at my post & pics.

I don't know if anyone is mass producing bars for the TBird now, you may to have them made as well, it's not cheap though.

Thanks for that info. I am so not a wrencher that I never thought about the riser specs vs. the diameter. Sounds so obvious now. Good to know it at any rate.

In case you are wondering, there's a guy in OZ I mentioned with a 2014 Storm who got a set fitted: (fb link) https://www.facebook.com/groups/Triumph.Cruisers/search/?query=Burleigh

His quotes: "Bars are 1 3/4" rollovers from Burleigh Bars and the levers are original ones but powder coated black." "Mine cost around $900 Aussie and then $250 to get fitted . Stupid money but they look great"

Here's a nice pic I copied from the fb feed. I like the powder coated levers too.

Burleigh bars do make bars for Birds & Rockets but they are not cheap.
Yet with the current exchange rate it may be a bit more viable.
Far too expensive for my blood

there is a member on here who has skills and talent beyond description {or at least beyond my vocabulary} in stainless steel fabrication, and can make bars or any other custom parts required. Handlebars to any specs you need or want
He knows who he is, so its not for me to say

These are made by "Thunderbike" in Nelson New Zealand.

Thunderbike Thunderbird 1600 Oversize T-Bars
Enhance the look of your new Thunderbird with these awesome oversize T-Bars. Chrome plated and at 1.5 inches diameter, these are meaty! A real custom look and they are so easy to fit.
No modifications to any controls are necessary as the diameter where the grips and controls fit are left at the standard handlebar diameter, no extended cables needed, just unbolt the standard ones and the fittings, put the new ones on and re-fit the controls, job done!
Stand back and admire, then get out on the road and salivate!

These bars have the same rise and pullback as the original fitment Triumph bars.

It is still possible to lift your tank with these fitted by loosening the mounting bolts a few turns to allow a bit of flex.
Triumph Thunderbird Oversize T-Bars Chrome Includes freight & GST

Triumph Thunderbird Oversize T-Bars Black Includes freight & GST

I've got the Thunderbike bars fitted... no changes required to the cables etc..

Colin Chapman once said: "If you add horsepower you'll be quick on the straight,...but if you remove weight you'll be quicker everywhere.." ....so why in hell did I buy a Thunderbird...!!!

Those T-bars look BAD ASS in 1 3/4 black, these are mine I had made by BR customs, they're 1 1/2 pipe, 10'' rise, I paid around $550 US
