Naturally I'd like to see them without the Cat but that's easy enough to do and I may have to go back with a cat soon enough. Those are a good option. Looks like they are selling them at 675 euros a set which is not too high.

What i don't understand is why no one seems to like the way the stockers flare outwards. People seemed to like that on the old nortons, and i am one of them. So thats one reason i'm not too keen on any of the aftermarket ones....they all seem to bring them back in close to the bike. am i the only one that likes the stock look in regards to the outward angle?

Well I wouldn't say that. Many people seem to like the stockers, those that don't swap out the pipes and those that go with the long TORs (to a lesser extend the shorties) I even like the stock ones, but for a completely different look than I'm going for. The stock pipes give a classy, relaxed Cadillac sort of look to the bike. Tucked in pipes give a more purposeful, aggressive feel and that was much more what I was after. These pipes throw in a nice dash of old school as well, which I like. I don't like how the remaining cat and the heat shields that appear to be rotated northward (but that might be the angle of the photo and not an actual change to the orientation)

It's one of the distinctive features (among many others) of the Tbird that made me buy one. But I guess I'm the only one who actually loves the sound of the stock pipes w/ cat.
