at the risk of getting shot down:
what is the best oil pressure gauge for my storm and where can I get one please?

After learning how low the oil pressure on a Harley is at idle, I think it would be handy to be able to look down and see what pressure ive got at the lights or similar...peace of mind thing...anyhow, ide appreciate any input...cheers.

fast eddy sells the joker oil pressure gauge, nice little piece and looks good on the bike, easy insall but that allen key is huge and i had to buy a a complete air gun set to get it. I will tell you this though, when the bike is warm is reads maybe 1 lb , i beleive becasue of where it is its not entirely accurate (bike runs at neutral at about 3-5 lbs i think) but i like it whike on the road long drives etc, if anything seems odd i can check it to see if the pressure is dropping etc. It will read at about 40 psi at 120 klmph.

You'll also note that,on a hot day when stopped in traffic, and depending on how long you're stopped for,the top end of the motor will start to make a "SUBSTANTIAL" amount of noise, but will gradually go away as you get under way again. So since I am now aware of this,I bring the rpm up gradually until the top end noise disappears,[it only takes about 10 seconds or so] instead of increasing it too quickly. And it seems to be working. You would think that Triumph would be aware of this and do something to prevent the OP from dropping so low at idle, because ya know dam right well, that top end noise created from the low pressure at idle,is NOT doing the motor any good.
