While washing the bike the other day, and took the pillion seat off. I know there are some pieces to bolt on in place of the seat, but has anyone come up with a way to mount a top box in place of the pillion? anyone with pics. I think a rear box would be a good place to store a lid while riding solo. Thoughts?

yep. Case is a Givi v47. Nice and roomy for lid, jacket, take out dinner, groceries, beer, etc. Much more convenient than the cramped (but handsome) Hardstreet side cases. I mounted mine on a Wompus rack Link Hand made in Georgia or South Carolina I think. The rack is sturdy to say the least using all six fender bolt mounting points. The only downside is that it is not detachable but I just choose to think of it as a spoiler when the case is off!
