I notice inside the lid of My Hardstreet Sixer Saddle Bags they say not to exceed the capacity of 2.7kgs / Bag . That's about the weight of a pair of "wet sneakers". mine are mounted via Easy Brackets and I quite regularly 2 or 3 times that weight on board on the long distance rides and are still in good condition.

I am about to head out again on another LDR to the outback.

Has anyone experienced any Structural Problems with these bags.

Gerry I guess it is like the 5kg limit on the triumph rack on the sissy bar.
I regularly had 20 plus kg on it with no problems.

I sometimes wonder what I"ll do when I grow up.... but not very often

Gerry I've got the slimbags on easy brackets, they have done 15 to 20 thousand kms on road trips, normally loaded with tools and breakdown stuff plus whatever else I can stuff into them and so far no issues.
