I am borrowing a Tom Tom for the trip to Tanunda Question is. It has a vertical and horizontal socket on the ends of the Purple and black wires. Is it possible just to plug a waterproof cigarette Lighter socket straight into this ,it has the same tang formation that will just plug straight in...or will it cause problems. All comments welcome. All I did was wire direct to battery via fuse to suit the load, (small, can't remember what size, around 2amps I think) the one protecting the aux.cct is 15amps, way too high.
