| | Posted : 12 Apr 2010 - 06:21 Post title : Baker Bike Safe. | | | A good friend of mine (Noel Baker) makes these for various bike - including the thunderbird.
As he is (a) retired and (b) not computer literate, I said I would post the details and see if I could drum up a little business for him (as you can imagine it is more of a hobby & beer money enterprise!)
What it is is a hard shell plastic tool role that is nicely edged - and all looks like leather. The safe has a lock (another key to carry) and whilst it is not waterproof totally - is pretty water resistant.
Pictures!
Side with Lock Front on From the cockpit Side - unlocked!
The cost of these is $AUD80.00 - the weight for shipping purposes is 1.2kg (Note the brackets are included) I did a check and the cheapest cost (via Australia Post) to ship these to the US would be $AUD22.80 - Update: I just checked and to send ten of these to the US (total weight 12kg) brings the cost down to $AUD11.80 each!
I suspect that a bulk shipment would bring the cost down.
Note that the Triumph badge is not included with the safe - although you guys could probably pick them up a lot cheaper than we can anyway.
If you are interested drop me a line at stan_gifford@iinet.net.au
Eddy - if you wanna order a couple of hundred - give me a call as well!
