They are Genuine Triumph "Chrome Line" Highway Pegs ( 1 X Set of A9750459 Highway Pegs.1 x Set of A9750463 Short Highway Peg Mounts) without the hugh adjustment swivel as I reckon the swivels make them look too agricultural and hang out in the middle of nowhere like "That Other Mob".

I replace the swivel with some 1-1/4 x 1/4 Stainless Flat bar so that I could get them to tuck in and when not in use hide behind the Engine Dresser Bars, at the same time keeping my heels away from the gearshift and brake levers.

Getting theses flat bar extensions right took me an eternity as they have to have three different bends in them + they have to be mirror images of each other as the angle of the lower engine dresser bar makes the peg want fall away or outwards and downwards from the bike so the bracket has to be set so that your foot doesn't slip off.

Ok for short arses! BTW Gerry, I took those swivel things off, mounted the pegs straight to the brackets, they are much closer to the crash bar and almost as comfy, all just for you mate.

Gerry are the rider pegs new or have you not been trying.
The hero pegs seem almost virginal

GerPa,
Nice job.

Unfortunately for my tall self, those agricultural swivels are a necessity for me to get a comfortable peg position. I just pull the damn things off unless I'm going to ride more than 200 miles at a time.

I have a question for ya Gerry. Do you think theres a way to mount those as regular rider pegs ? I always loved those pegs but i don't use highway pegs. But they'd be great as rider pegs as good as they look. I looked at them a long while ago and noticed they won't, but i'm wondering if theres a way with an adapter or some such thing. Anyways, long shot but i thought i'd ask.

Oi Dale !

Mate as you would know we are all legends on this forum and can do anything.

I remember an old saying. "Time and Patience and a Tin of Vaseline you can jam your finger up any Tomcats Arse"

So I would think the answer is Yes.

If you look at the picture below. As both Footrest are "Male Configured" I think it would be a little mucking around, and if the Clevis Pin size is comparable it would be just a matter of with the aid of some small stainless washers and or maybe a small stainless spacers that you could mount the return spring on the top side of the Triumph Footrest then make up a little spacer to fill the remaining void underneath in the female clevis opening.
You might need to drill another tiny hole in the Original Clevis for the anchor point for the return spring.

Cheers

I suppose it could be done. Wish i knew if the outcome would be good, i'd do it. Hard to say tho. Also wonder bout how sturdy it would be. I do stand on the pegs going over bumps and potholes and such.

Nothing ventured Nothing gained.

Give it a go, it would take all but 10 or 15 minutes to cure your curiosity.

If the 2 Clevis pins are the same diameter the cost EXCLUDING your labour would be about maybe a couple of bucks for some flat washers to see if it works.

Gerry I don't think Daz actually has any HW pegs to try.
