Congratulations
Make sure you and he get some serious bonding time.
I get as big a grin when I look at my son to when I ride my TBird. So proud.

Congratulations!!

I remember that overwhelming sense of pride when my son(s) were born, nothing like it in the world.

Get him on two wheels as soon as you can

Thanks, gents. This is my 2nd marriage, 2 girls with my ex. It's my better half's first, though, so I'm trying not to take away from her experience by over indulging with advice, etc.

Oh, and DAVE!!! I'm Dutch Irish....and this guy got none of my features. Takes after his Vietnamese mom, in every way. We were all quite curious what a blue eyed, blonde haired Asian kid would look like????

Will be quite interesting when he gets older and walks around St Patty's Day with a "Kiss Me I'm Irish" tee shirt on

BTW - already looking for an old Camaro to work on as his first car, and there will be many 2 wheeled trainers along the way. She's already a bit worried about all of the "toys" I have planned!!

Take Care, All!

Jamie

Congrets for this little guy!
In my experience in the first years the female fraction of the family has the strongest binding (and a lot of work) to the kids at that age.
The Dad fraction comes later in the years. That you have to accept but to learn that it can be helpful to do a lot of Tbird riding, getting the mind free and dealing with the frustration this can cause sometimes.
My kids are grown, but I still remember the face of my son (being 19 yrs) a couple of weeks ago when I came across with my Tbird for the first time. It says something like
"what a f..ing cool Dad have I got?" or "how crazy can one be" and in the end "can we do some riding together?"
That gave me a strong feeling, so I knew I did a lot of things right...
So have fun with your baby and try to get some sleep from time to time.

Congrats! Sounds like you have a healthy perspective.
My 14 year old daughter just told me the other day, that she wants to learn to ride. I just took up riding a couple years ago, so that makes me feel pretty good. Enjoy them while they're young, cause you blink and then they're a teenager.
