I use on old condemed oxy bottle as an anvill, & use wooden & rubber mallets to beat it into shape. If you have a jig saw & some hand skills you can panel beat your own seat to the contours of your own arse for the most comfy seat ever. I have built several seats in the past & contoured correctly you don,t need much padding, so can be a little closer to the ground. Material is 3mm alloy.

Ps - I have all those tools, but which beer would you recomend for panel beating.

Seriously, though, I've always wondered how they do this. Now you've got me thinking...

I was gunna make a video, but I didn,t have 3 hands. Give it a go what have you got to lose. A bag full of sand to beat on may help. I,ll post more pic,s when I make some more progress, Just have to see upholster before I go much further, To discuss fixing leather cover. I plan on using an Airhawk inside the seat. As far as panel beating while fitted to arse, I hope you have a hard arse, & if your method is successful you will officially qualify as a genuine hard arse. Make sure you have a few drinks before letting the Ol Lady & Kids start beating. Medicinal Purposes!Your new & in-genus method may have merit. However you laying down won,t work may I suggest you assume a posture where as " an inverted seating position" should result in a better outcome for all concerned. Good Luck, Post Pic,s
