For those who have the chrome lower belt guard installed (and those who haven't), I was reading the install instructions and it mentions that the exhaust needs needs to be removed along with the bracket. I was just wondering if this was actually the case, or if the belt guard can be fitted without having to do all this?
Thanks in advance

I know it would be a lot easier to remove the exhaust to do it - but that's not a big job. It also gives you chance to get into the bits to clean that are normally hard to get at.

My first natural instinct is to breathe. My second is to evade tax's.

Had a look the other night ~ and forgot to reply to your PM jov (sorry) ~ and I'd say you wouldn't have to pull the exhaust, but just make sure you're not installing it straight after a ride!!!

It's tight to get to a nut or two and a hot exhaust wouldn't help matters!!!!

Leave the pork pies for now - get the sausage rolls while they're hot!

Thanks for the suggestions!
We'll just see how ambitious I'am come the day of the install, lol.

And i've felt the pain of the hot exhaust before, my leg brushed up against it while wearing shorts
