If we write a doctrine, have a set of rules, have a place to worship and have a thunderbird god, we have enough "followers" to start a religion.

Imagine!!! No Taxes.

It would be more legit than the other religions. At least we could kneel and pray to something tangible................a Triumph Thunderbird!!

And when my kids ask about god, I can say. "Its in the garage son"

Communion could be party pies, and have a chalace filled with VB

Would that mean that we wouldn't have to remove our helmet when we went into the servo... as it is a religious item

and if they asked us too,we could have a winge, and claim religious discrimination

Will you lead our congregation and may I suggest Doritos for communion instead of pie? You can get a lot of them in a basket and they're easier to hand out. We could use the owners manual as our bible. The good book sayith to use the ignition switch to kill the motor not the kick stand nor the emergency stop switch.

Brother Eddie,

I sayeth unto ye that I must, unfortunately agree with Brother Kirk, and say that Communion should probably be of Dorito, rather than Party Pie, if for no other reason than they won't need to be heated up in the Tabernacle, before we consume them. And as for chalices full of Vomit Bombs (VB) - each to their own - make mine JD.

And might I add that we all should take heed of the words in the Holy Book (Owners Manual) and foresaketh not its many Warnings, Cautions and Notes, lest we have some pestilence or bad things happen to us.

We should all pay appropriate homage to the Thunderbird God within our own Tabernacles on a daily basis and regular Penance of washing and polishing should constantly remind us of the enormity and virtue of the Gift that has been bestowed upon us.

Yea verily I say to all Brethren to always maintain the black stuff to the track stuff, or ye shall be in great danger and peril.

Here endeth this Lesson.

Great Idea Eddie. Do you think we could get the Tax exemptions retrospectively? I could claim for the building of my Temple and even accesories and petrol may be cheaper.

I don't think we should adopt some of the rituals from the archaic religions like communion and the ten commandments. In fact I think we should limit our doctinal guidelines to about five. E.G.

1. Thou shalt Flock at least annually, with past Flocking sites declared Sacred forthwith. (Consuming copious quantities of food and drink at such events is of course mandatory.)

2. Thou shalt "Take the Piss" out of every rider of any other Nationality, Oh and Magpie.

3. Thou shalt not covet any other riders wifes ass.

4. Serious topics such as football, alcoholic beverages and sex must only be discussed in reverential terms with acceptance that we can't all be perfect.

5. Consideration of purchasing a Harley will be punishable by excommunication! May be upgraded to the Death Penalty in certain states of the US.

Just a few quick suggestions, after all I'm not called Moses.

If you are willing to take suggestions, I'd say, number of the beast should be 1700 Wondering if Iron Maiden could re-write their lyrics

Will there be a Crusifiction...

If so, perhaps a poll could be set, so we could vote for the most worthy candidate...

Mind control for Cults
Main article: Mind control

Studies have identified a number of key steps in coercive persuasion:[17][18]

People are put in physical or emotionally distressing situations;
Their problems are reduced to one simple explanation, which is repeatedly emphasized;
They receive what seems to be unconditional love, acceptance, and attention from a charismatic leader or group;
They get a new identity based on the group;
They are subject to entrapment (isolation from friends, relatives and the mainstream culture) and their access to information is severely controlled

No... no difference.....Still the same Answer....Ride a Triumph Thunderbird in a flock
