There's a few things I was thinking of getting, ended up with almost all of them.
Short TORs, to get the sound a bit nicer and pick up a little extra power.
Set of front and back dresser bars (crash bars to you and me) to stop the nightmares of dropping the bike after reading about your mishaps on here.
Midrange screen so I can see over the top and it will fit on the existing bracket giving me options. Thought the summer one was a bit short, but the mid range will let me see over the top, unless it's lashing it down and I can hide behind it. It's hard to see through the screen and the visor on a wet night. I'm hoping it will be at the right height to flick the bulk of the rain over the top of me.
I looked at the sissy bar bag but it seemed a bit pricey, I can get something similar for less and the Triumph saddle bags haven't impressed me at all. Wanted somewhere to stash the waterproofs without having to have the saddle bags on. Might have to go for a tool bag of some sort too for the clutch cable repair kit, a few assorted spairs and a few tools.
Had to drag myself away before I got too close to the leathers, "It would be nice to have..." Out you waster you've spent enough.
On top of the new rear tyre, insurance oh and road tax nearly forgot that it's just as well I don't have wallet watch dog at home, I'd be in big trouble.
Gonna be a couple of weeks before I get them fitted, just in time for the nice weather, I hope.
So this weekend: Might even get around to finishing the fitting of the easy brackets then. Started last year but needed a bit adjustment and I didn't have the tolls I needed, put the standard bracket back on as I was going a way and there it stayed.
Still got the sat nav supply to fit somewhere, but I quite enjoy getting lost, more fun riding.
Trouble is if it's still sunny, will it get done? At least it will keep me away from all that glittering temptation. Maybe I should get counselling, what do you reckon?
