Yes.

#Front wheel:

Take the calipers loose from the forks because the tire width will not fit between them.

The rest is straight forward

#Back wheel:

Take small line or twine and tie the sprocket to the wheel through several spokes. This keeps the sprocket/cush drive assembly attached to the wheel as you remove it from the bike. It also is very beneficial for installing the wheel as you dont have more than two hands...

Tie the brake assembly to the swing arm, but not tightly. It has to be able to slide in its notch. It prevents it from moving around while you remove/install the wheel. Back to the two hands thing.

Jack bike up just enough to take the weight off of the wheel.

Remove axle.

Roll wheel forward and take the belt off.

Roll wheel back as far as it will go. Begin to jack the bike up until the wheel has clearance from the fender to remove it.

Good luck

Same as what CB said. Front wheel - just take one caliper off, wheel goes in ok.

Back wheel, as CB said but I found it easier to roll the wheel in and slide the b/caliper on to the disc and get someone to stand on the rear b/pedal or zip tie the pedal down (if you have no mates ) then align the caliper stay with the slot.

Be very careful NOT to bend the ABS pulse ring. A little knock can put that light on. If your dealer has to sort it, he'll fit a new one £180.00 (= a lot of beer)

When you slide the wheel in, find something that aligns the wheel from the right hand side and draw it out as you tap the spindle in.

Tighten the main nut so your wheel doesn't move easy then start to adjust your wheel and belt. If your back wheel is still in the air you can spin the wheel while adjusting and see the belt move to and fro across the pulley - when you have it centered and your belt is ok then tighten all up. 110nm for the main nut.

Good job. Like the oil pressure gauge looks good.

Everybody has their own tastes and if black wheels does it for you
Probably just an old coot stuck in my ways but I think I'll keep my nice shiny wheels.

my father has a R3, he is big into chrome and shiny also. i like the more subtle muscle car look, also the gauge reads about 16psi idle

The black wheels provide a nice contrast to the silver front fender. I don't normally like black wheels on bikes or cars, but I think this looks pretty good.

actually a lot better than i thought. the front could not have been easier, the rear actually went together easier than it came apart. only thing was aligning the belt and checking tension. i think i got it pretty good, smooth and no noises.

CornBanger,
Do I detect a hint of Aussie or Brit in your use of. "mate" !
Or is our use of it rubbing off on you Yanks ?

There ya go.... That looks great. The sliver bird, the most under appreciated of the birds and I think one of the best looking. It's got that bulldog look off the showroom and you've done a nice job of accentuating that. The cowl and black wheels really add to it without going overboard.

So, I have a Brit and an Aussie that both live a few doors down. That combined with you fellas, some of it has rubbed off I guess. The veggimite (sp?) is some interesting stuff... Not bad on white bread tho.

As for me, I am Scottish by heritage, Gordon clan. The Brits threw you guys out and built a wall (with the Romans help) to keep us away because we dont like to wear underwear... We have more in common than we like to think. I like your chicks better!!
