61 and sunny today so I took the Tbird out

Tires only lost 2 lbs each and it started like it was already warm. Felt good to out again.

Feels good to get her back out.

I got mine out today as well. Got to try out a number of new toys, but the best was just riding again. It was funny though. I stopped at my local Italian deli and as I was taking off my gear before walking in two old ladies, one with one of those walkers with wheels and a handbrake stopped by my bike and started talking. I don't speak a lot of German but I did hear several " sehr sch??n" (very pretty) comments and the one I. The walker stopped as the two moved on and said how nice my bike was.... so, not exactly my demographic, they seemed pretty impressed. I told my wife she better watch out.

Alright, guess I shouldn't of mentioned it. I just thought it was a cool exchange... back to not referencing my bike... at all.... ever, till you guys get to see her.

-14,5° Celcius this morning. I can't even get my Bird out of the clubs garage 'cause the door is froze shut. Like I could ride on those icy roads? Well, all comes to he who waits, of something...

Took the bike out for a 50 mile ride through the New Forest on Saturday in glorious weather. Bit chillier this week, but still fine for the 25 mile ride to work every day.

Looking forward to the ride up to the Ace Cafe to meet Gonzo on Saturday evening

Hope it's worth the wait, all we know at this time is it's good for catching a granny, not sure how much street cred that brings

I really feel bad for those of you who can't ride year-round like we do in Houston .

For that reason, of course, I don't expect any sympathy at all for us here when we're sitting at a stoplight in 95F degree heat....

Well, thats a relief. Better that you're being secretive instead of just ignoring my question.

Took mine out Sunday, there was a charity ride for the childrens hospital and about 800 bikes showed up. There were about 750 harleys and a few hondas and a couple of gold wings but I had the only Thunderbird and it did get a lot of attention, Funny how many harley riders want to tell you about the triumph they had when they were younger. Anyway, the ride was police escorted and went up A1A along the beach for about 25 miles then west to a local sports bar. They had live music and a few vendors selling bike stuff. My wife bought a T shirt and I got a hamburger and beer. Had a great time and the kids got a lot of money.

Yes I know what it's like to feel the heat , sitting in traffic during those 37C / 99F days and peeling numerous bugs out of your moe, but it does make that cold beer taste better.

But sadly Autumn has arrived down south and it's time to put the mesh jacket and the fishnets in the wardrobe and bring out the leather one, like today's cool 21C / 70F forecast.......

I keep thanking the Poms for sending the convicts to Australia and for them staying in England
