Congrats Mick. First ride out and you've got more miles on yours than I've had on mine in nearly 6 months.... I'm jealous.

Enjoy what you can of the bird to it warms up, and welcome to the forum

Great stuff. Don't know how cold it was over there but it was great over here on the east coast - got upto 15c .
Bike cafe packed. Even the HD's were out - although there was talk of a black cloud comeing in over the atlantic so they all scooted pretty quick.
Good to have you on - and another for the flocking ?

Preferably on the bike not on the road.

Four more sleeps and you too can join in.

Hi Mike. Good on ya, glad you enjoyed it.

If you're interested about a ride out around the Peak District National park, there's about 18 of us from this forum meeting up for a ride on Sunday 18th March.
Many of us are meeting up on the Saturday night at Hurdlow, near Bakewell for a meal and staying over in barn accomodation.
If interested, in being part of the UK record 'Flocking' Let me know and I'll E-Mail you further details.

Regards
Sean

Hi Mick - happy to see you on here and a warm welcome to you

I am also in Leeds so would be easy to meet up for a ride sometime - I could introduce you to some of the less reputable Birder's from the East and North Yorkshire area - you'll just need to be careful around the bar area where their arms become short and pockets deep

Had a good ride myself yesterday ending up at Robin Hoods Bay - weather turned out nice, but as you say still a little cold, although perfectly fine with the right gear on

If you can keep your head when all around are losing theirs, then you haven't grasped the gravity of the situation !!!.

oooooooohh - cheap skit.

Should have said you were out and about - Mrs1600 and I were just bimbling about with no where to go. Actually ended up in Hull and Saturday was spent with Paul at the BMW (bikes) showroom - he felt like being ripped off for some gear. So although I managed a good couple of hundred miles over the weekend -nothing much achieved.
