Having never experienced these babies before Im concidering looking at sorting it out.

Im looking at a fairly long trip to lands end with my bro in september so highway hawk pads and highway pegs seems to be a good investment . Whose got the pegs and does it really make riding long distances a better experience?

I have the Triumph adjustable highway pegs which work fine with my short a$$ 33" inseam. I do not use them on short trips but on long trips with all of my old injuries it really helps me to move around and change positions.

What are going to do for the rest of the day

Are you ever going to head north - the glaciers have all but gone now and the vikings have left. Retired Wippet is no longer on the menu and pigeons are now used for sport instead of a means to communicate.

Peak district - 17/18 March -you and ya Bro - be there.

Hi Druid, try the Kuryakyn highway pegs, I have fitted them to the standard Triumph Highway Bars, they look good and are a lot cheaper than the standard Triumph units.

Like the guy with the Long "Hall" seat, I HATE KURYAKIN!!! I bought some of their crap and the chrome started flaking off in less than 2 weeks. When they showed up for Bike Week I went to their booth and waited until no one was around one of the attendants so as not to make them look bad in front of customers and asked him what I should do about the problem. I was told their chrome doesn't flake and they don't take it back because they know how high the quality is. He then told me to leave their booth and not to return.

He didn't have to worry about that. At this point many of the aftermarket places around Daytona won't carry their garbage any more. Maybe they have improved their quality, but they ruined their rep with a poor attitude and no service.

Hi Druid, check out Fast Eddy's site for

Link

" Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset Dually: 1624-0035

Kuryakyn 4575 Longhorn Offset Dually with 1.25 inch Magnum Quick Clamp (pr) The all-in-one answer for long-haul comfort. We combined our most popular highway peg components into one product that's attractive, adjustable, and easy to install."

They look the goods and so far I haven't had any quality issues. They are very versitile in their fitment so you can set them in a position that suits very easily. I can send pics if you want.

Cheers, Max

I have the Kuryakyns too and so far, no problems. They look like they're well made. I guess time will tell, I've had them for a year.
