I received a gopro camera for a gift and have made a couple of short test vids using the handlebar mount kit I bought. I was wondering if anyone else has a gopro and tried mounting options. As when i looked there isn't any place on the "frame" that I can mount the camera for a low or side shot......

I already have the handlebar mount, the issue is if I want to shot a vid from the side of the bike I can't find a place to mount it. Don't have crash bars so that's not an option.............

Sorry... realized that after I'd already posted. Though, you CAN couple 2 (or even 3!) of the extra-long RAM arms and hang 'em down from the bar mount to get your side shot. I've seen a few posts over on AdvRider.com where a few guys have done this. There's also some connectors in the misc. section of the RAM site that MIGHT allow you to mount to your front forks (seen that somewhere, too... just can't remember exactly where... if I find it, I'll post).

And... if you were willing to drill 4 small holes in your radiator cover, you could mount a base plate/ball there, and then use 1 or 2 of the long arms to get the camera to hang out where you want the shots.

Just a few ideas.

Also, try this search string in Google... gopro motorcycle mounting options site:www.youtube.com ~ Some interesting threads show up.
