Well, from what I've seen while searching, you can get them in any pressure you want. IE: Get 1 at a specific pressure for the front and another at a specific pressure for the rear. You just have to remember which is which!

But would not use them on a bike as I don't think this accurate enough.
I have a digital gage and check the tyres almost daily.
Yesterday planned to do 100 miles, first thing was to check the tyres, put a couple of pounds in each.
A couple of sports bike guys I know, don't trust them.
I read somewhere that Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems will have to be fitted to all new cars from 2010 in the EEC.
Don't know if this will apply to motorcycles.

(Re: lioneloxford) | | | Here in the States,all vehicles built and or sold new after 08, are now required to have TPMS as standard equipment.My wife's 2010 Jeep has em.There are two types used.Direct and indirect.The Jeep uses direct.Direct uses special valve stems to monitor tire pressure.BIG BUCKS for for the valve stems.Indirect uses the ABS system to monitor tire pressure.No matter how ya look at it,both systems are quite expensive which raises the question:Are they really worth it?? lol Most people don't even know they have tires on their vehicles,let alone what a TPMS is.lol Personally,all I see with this system is another way to fu** the general public.Dave!!!

I have them on my VT 750 honda their o k with in a couple of pounds. If your in tune with your bike seat of the pants will also tell you.

Or, you contact all the bike mags and tell them you are about to do a 10,000 mile trip, and plan to fit tyre pressure monitoring system, and would they like an article on the trip and review on the monitoring system.
If one says yes, you then contact the manufacturers and say you are going on a 10,000 mile trip, and will be writing an article for xyz motorcycle magazine, and would they fit a complimentry system to your bike for you to test.
