Never been happy with the look of the front of the bike (especially with the aux lamps). Nor the tank badge (a hot topic that one).

Soooooo.....

I give you the Thundermaster....

Speedmaster tank badge and headlamp have improved things no end.

So Thundermaster it is.

I'm very happy with it - Sean's looks good with out the lightbar too. Easy mod to make - just need to remove a small locating pin then it fits well.

It looks great! My list is so long I can't add anything else. I love the solo look but think that may cause some bother
I am having to add the rack to the sissy bar to give me a modicum of luggage capability so even more clutter on the back!

The badge really looks better - simple to do?

Yes - all you need is a hairdryer and an old credit card (or Mrs Midge's card if you are feeling brave). There is a great de-badging clip on here (one of the excellent N.L. contributions).

The bigger headlamp is on my list, especially as I now have the NC flyscreen. The stock lamp at night in the rain is pretty ordinary as I found out going to a dawn service on Anzac Day.

Experience is something you get just after you needed it

Not a bad idea. That's the callsign for British Airways on the air traffic control system. They identify themselves with the word Speedbird and then the flight number. It was really apropos when Concord was flying to hear "Speedbird One" on the radio.

Yep, thats me

The speedmaster bucket and the Bird bucket can be changed easily. Just the same connection. No high engineering skills needed.

I think I asked this elsewhere and didn't get a reply.... can I assume with the bigger bucket it is easier to upgrade to HID and lose the ballast in the bucket ?

Ah so you are back (and obviously looking for a new chick following your Meet the Parents holiday)!

I knew it would be interesting - had pictured you thumbing a lift home complete with your cravat wrapped around your neck. Better man than me for making it home without a muder charge and a vacancy on your right arm
