This site has been pretty much self policing. Usually happens that anyone that gets too over the top get run off by the members. Keep the crap and shit to the off topic lounge so its not in the face of those looking at bikes. Also, personal religious/race insults should be kept off public viewing - I am not in any way religious but we have had members that were probably muslim (guessing by their name and country) - this doesn't make them a terrorist - so best keep that sort of shit to yourself.

Other than that - it's great.

For whatever it is worth, I recall being member of a certain forum when I had my Bandit 1200. I found the moderator as annoying (or worse) than the posts that supposedly violated his policies.

I have had the same experience as you ... fucking mods all over the place I started feeling they were watching over my shoulder every time I typed.
Like Mat said, this site more or less self-polices itself without mods and in fact, I think it is a stellar example (thanks to you guys) of what is possible as any OTT cases have really been minimal over the last 7 years.

Just remember back a bit when "A Dickhead" tried his hardest to bring down " Our Mate Fast Eddy ". and then there was Ol Mate Sunnyday ,& Thunderstrike who was a bit of a pain.

The moderators kept out and let it run it's course. The Hounds came to the rescue in both cases
