Well as our USA brothers alluded to some time ago, I got word today that the original Tbird is being phased out.
Have to say I'm disappointed, not everyone likes blacked out twin headlight bikes, or for that matter HD look a likes, and I suppose chromed out ones too. It seems a strange move to get rid of the model that got it all started, although there was a whisper that something may happen in the Storm range.
All the dealer principals have been to a world conference, so if you get a chance to talk to one, see what you can find out.

I dont know why they dont just sell it as a 1700 as standard. as the T/bird has a loyal following. I love the 4 bikes in the range, but prefer the blacked out twin headlight one. and havent noticed any HD lookalikes in the Triumph range. Something new might be in the pipeline Leethal. or maybe a stripped down LT? Dermot

But their website is always jacked up for weeks when the new models come out. How hard is it to post the right lineup? Wish I had a job where I could dick off for weeks with no repercussions

Does that mean that our bikes have just gone up in value. I was asking $12750 for my 2009 Tbird. I reckon its now worth $25000.......Its a collectors item now

As someone else mentioned, there some incorrect details, photos, etc. Just this past Monday I was peaking at the new Bonnies, and saw a photo of a Storm in the Commander link. But they're always tweaking the US site, so maybe it's in a state of perpetual change??

From my local dealer. As I mentioned all the dealer principals recently attended a triumph conference, I have not spoken to my local DP as yet, but the head salesman mentioned that the 1600 is on run out.
