I thought I'd post this YouTube clip I came across. I love the look of them but not the price tag of $825.
Has anyone installed anything similar but cheaper?
I'm really looking for the lift around 8 inches like the one in the video.

Mate I have the Thunderbike T bars made in NZ. They are similar but in chrome. I don't know if they offer them in black?? They are chunky like the ones on your post but wouldn't have as much rise. I think they are under $500 so expensive compared to the Triumph T bars but cheap compared to Burleigh bars. The one draw back on these style bars is that there is no adjustment at all. I reckon if you like the Burleigh bars then get them. Its only money............ I think all there bars are custom made so you could mod them a little to make them exactly the rise etc that you require. On the weekend at the Brisbane flocking I seen a LT with custom Burleigh bars and they seem like a quality product.

Thunderbike Thunderbird 1600 Oversize T-Bars
Enhance the look of your new Thunderbird with these awesome oversize T-Bars. Chrome plated and at 1.5 inches diameter, these are meaty! A real custom look and they are so easy to fit.
No modifications to any controls are necessary as the diameter where the grips and controls fit are left at the standard handlebar diameter, no extended cables needed, just unbolt the standard ones and the fittings, put the new ones on and re-fit the controls, job done!
Stand back and admire, then get out on the road and salivate!

These bars have the same rise and pullback as the original fitment Triumph bars.

It is still possible to lift your tank with these fitted by loosening the mounting bolts a few turns to allow a bit of flex.

I've got the polished stainless Burleigh Bars on mine, they look the same as those ones.

I got them a few years ago, $700 at the time.

I know they're expensive but the workmanship is first class, very tidy too with the wiring going through the bars

Hi Smiffy I just checked your photo album. I like the bars.
What diameter are the bars?
I like that thickness. And are they an 8inch rise?
The Burleigh bars are nice.

In thinking about ordering a set while I'm away OS.. I'll be back home in 2 weeks.
Does anyone know the distance between the risers?
And if the new bars line up with holes on the triple tree is it just a matter of finding the right size bolt??
I've seen a set of bars on the lachoppers web site.
