Wind noise is less, ventilation great and aerodynamics fantastic! Almost zero buffeting at 80 mph, a great helmet imo (now just add a Triumph logo as daz suggested ;)
...side note, was on the highway today running with a pack of Harleys and the Bird stretched her sleek legs. She's never run better after the rebuild (upgraded suspension, modified exhaust, dyno tuned map)

Glad you found one you're happy with. The Airoh I bought does really well, too, but I swear it generates more noise than my half-bucket. Earplugs are a must.
BTW: Here in CA, they toyed with a law that would have required you to replace your helmet every 5 years. Paint, stickers, a scratch or ding, any modification would require replacement, too. That was back before the crazy prices that good helmets now command.
Glad to hear you're enjoying all the work you've put into that bike. The wax and polish probably adds 10mph alone!

I wouldn't be w/o that anymore ! I love the fact i have a logo front and back so no one will think i'm on a HD or jap. I want em to know this ain't some freakin tractor ! And i gotta tell you, since i started doing this a couple years ago harleys have stopped racing me. I swear at least 2-4 tines a year that would happen. Hmmmm....maybe i should remove em.
By the way, i found my dream helmet about 3-4 months ago. My search is over after a never ending stream of helmets that just didn't cut it one way or another.

Not only are the modular ones easier to take on and off (especially if you wear glasses) but you can lift the front on really hot days to make the helmet tolerable. But the Shoei modular has really gotten expensive, about the same as the Schuberth. I'm considering going back to the HJC which seems pretty much as good as Shoei, but about half the price.
