| | Posted : 13 Oct 2015 - 17:21 Post title : So Cal Birders...annual brit rally Nov 1 | | | For anyone in the socal area thats not aware, for years a local bike shop, so cal norton, hosts an annual british bike show/rally at hansen dam every november. usually the 1st sunday i believe. And this year it is indeed sunday nov 1. there are usually tons of riders on all sorts of bikes but mostly british. Lots of old trumps and nortons, some BSA, etc. Many of the meridan triumph and norton owners can be sorta snobby towards us hinkley owners but still pretty interesting. The take off in groups for planned rides thru angeles forest routes at various intervals thru the day if you like that kind of thing. I prefer riding alone but it's there if you want. Anyways, not sure if i'll make it or not. If no rain and not real cold i probably will stop by for a bit. maybe i'll see some of you there. Anyways, theres no information on thier site yet but it IS mentioned here.. Link It's free of course and i dunno if they still do but they used to hand out free so cal norton T shirts if you're riding brit. depands on who's handing them out at the gate tho....some of the more vintage snob types won't give you one if u r on a newer hinkley bike. Pretty interesting rally tho. Tons of old and ever very rare bikes, customs, etc.

I'm sure you could mount some pontoons to the bird and get one of those mud (paddlewheel type) rear tires
