| | Posted : 13 Oct 2015 - 14:06 Post title : SAD................... | | | Didn't have anytime to ride my 1700 this year because every weekend involved laying down mulch in the yard, etc just endless things here. I got out and went for a ride only twice  It's our first house together which we bought a year ago, although we rented a house initially somewhere else, we decided to buy & we pretty much knew what was involved, but boy ohh boy you go from one thing to the other! Now winter is moving in quick here in the Northeast, this week only going to be a high of 55 degrees, so pretty soon time to gas up my bikes, the vette, add Stabil to the tanks, hook up battery tenders & cover them in the garage only to come back out 150 days later. I seem to get depressed this time of year.

I had to buy my wife a new snow blower and a bigger snow shovel so she can keep the driveway clean enough for me to get out on my scooter for alittle ride every now and then. And if ya believe that,I got a bridge I wanna sell ya.

(Re: beast1700) | | | Right now,I have two guys that wanna buy my Tbird,mainly,due to the condition of it and the fact that I don't beat on it and I take real good care of it.The problem is,I'm really not ready to sell it yet,[it's ONLY got 92,000 miles on it ] unless, I find somethin better of atleast somethin that I like.Well neither has happened yet as I've been shopping.I really like that LT,but not with tube type tires.Someone suggested swapping the wheels and tires over from the Commander.The problem with that is,they're different.So we're back to square one.And besides,my bike is running better right now then it has since I've owned it. Maybe it'll even go another 92,000 miles.

I bought mine a bigger shovel as well, and for her birthday I bought a blade for the front of her Grizzly ATV

Tube tires aren't so bad, Dave. I never had a flat with them. I always carried around a can of run flat stuff on tours. One time they saved my bacon. I ran in to the back of a pick-up on my TBA and the rim was all bent but the tube did not pop and I limped to work at 35 MPH. I think you REALLY need a Red/black LT.
