I've had one fitted for a couple of years and I used urethane adhesive but they come with double sided tape, great investment to save the radiator.

I used alittle ingenuity and made a front flap out of an old soft rubber floor mat I had layin around as my radiator was catchin hell too. I also made a much larger and longer flap, also from a soft rubber floor mat, for the rear fender as that bigger rear tire was throwin all kinds of road debris up on the luggage rack, trunk I bought for it,and the insides of the saddle bags.Problem solved, not to mention, the flaps I made don't look that bad on the bike, almost like they came on it from the factory.

I don't like the fact that they suggest that you drill the fender and fix with screws. On other bikes I use a high strength dual compound epoxy resin or Master Seal MS Polymer adhesive compound*. You do have to abrade the surfaces which I find hard to do .... deliberately damage an item to prevent damage just doesn't sit well with my complex sense of order. Plus I kinda like the short fender design. Beowulf (and no doubt others) used to do rad guards ... would that help?
