You need to move! Actually, come to think of it ... the others might not entirely agree

Only kidding mate. Seriously, your winter period is way too long for my liking.

Dave, tell him how great winters are in New England, with TONNES of snow every other day, constant shoveling, and yes, chopping hard wood ALL the time for warmth, nothing wrong with winters in the East.... and winter is 6-8 months, not 3

Last winter was BAD.According to the weather forecasters,it's supposed to be even worse this year with more snow and even colder temps. The bike will go in cold temps, however, when ya have 20 feet of snow,it doesn't fair very well.I guess I'll have to fit it with a set of chains this year. We'll see!!

YUP, all the acorns are off the trees already & I don't see any squirrels out either. Thats a bad sign folks, ordering up wood pellets soon and getting the snow thrower ready too.

What? someone that hates winter????

I LOVE WINTER, the snowmobiling, shoveling 4 feet of that great white snow every other day. getting stuck in 6 feet of it with my truck, not to mention school cancellation and stuck at home with my kids .....whats not to love about winter? I do love winter, but LAST WINTER was a little to much, think i'll retire in Florida if we have one close to what we had last winter

Well hold on to your ars because the forecast is for even more snow and colder temps then we had last winter! So ya better start looking for a place in that Floda State where our friend Mr. feduke resides.I guess Mr. feduke is smarter then the av-er-age bear,ya know, like Yogi Bear and Boo Boo!!

Don't worry about winter. Don't you know that with "climate change" we can soon expect year round warm weather anywhere south of the North Pole? But in the meantime I share your pain. Here in northern Illinois we are seeing the sure signs that winter is coming. Seems to happen every year around this time. But until it gets below 40 I still ride, although I prefer over 50 degrees to enjoy the ride. I don't own any electric gear, but maybe that's the answer for now and until this "global warming" ever gets here!

If I were you,I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this Global Warming [climate change] that these bleeding heart liberals are talking about. All they're doin is making money off it. Things will pretty much stay the same and we'll STILL be freezing our asses off in the winter months for the next 1000 years. But win, lose,or draw,I still got the bases covered! The next accessory for your scooter will be AC. And don't laugh because there IS such a thing available on the market now. [I've read about it] BUT,for a premium price, and I mean PREMIUM. [So I think I'll continue to sweat on those hot days]

Well gang,it's almost 11:30PM here and I just came in on the scooter. The temp outside right now is 29*F and I had my lectrics plugged so I was nice and toasty as they make all the difference in the world in the cold weather. And then, the RUT has started and I've already encountered a number of deer runnin across the streets in front of me at night. Winter doesn't officially start here for another few weeks, yet it's cold already.Previews of coming attractions I guess. Welcome to New England!!
