Has anyone trimmed their Storm handlebars?
I would like them a bit more narrow to help with the lane splitting.

You should try and buy a set of originals off of here or fleabay and modify.

I made my own bars 1" chrome molly tubing, same style as original with a 3" bend and approxiametly 200mm shorter. I had them powder coated they look good (in my opinion).

Yeah ok I thought I'd save money and just maybe take an inch off or maybe more... To save money.

I have thought about blacking the bars but at the moment I like the combination of chrome and black..

you can just cut them, i have done it several times on other bars, the only issue will be the weights at the end but usually it has little affect.

If you have stock grips, then you'll need to reweld the threaded inserts that receive the bolt for the bar end weights.

I don't have stock bars and it's an older model .... but I'm sure the clutch and brake lever fittings had mounting holes to go into on the bars.... these would have to be re-drilled into the bars at new locations...
