Hey Fab, Ive got the blue one with the dual headlights.I met you and your bride at Bathurst. My vin is 422144 so is a little earlier than yours. I have had some noises lately and is now a little difficult to start. Can you post a photo and a description of the broken part as I have got mine booked in for the 10,000k service tomorrow and they will check it out if I can give them a more detailed description of what to look for. The motor is still going fine though. Are you heading to Albury in April?? Stevew |

Steve, can you give a bit more of a description of 'a little difficult to start'? If the decompressor is broken it will sound almost as if the battery is dying... like it won't crank over properly. In fact on mine, the service guy at the front desk first wondered if it wasn't a failed starter relay. If it cranks over ok but just won't fire right away, that wouldn't be related to a broken decompressor. Still a good idea to have it looked at at the 10k service though.

Had the throttle bodies balanced (as per service specs) and it really cracks now.He noticed on the computer that I had a TuneBoy tune loaded ,but did not play with any of that.. Have also had the Avon Cobras fitted last week and managed to squeeze in a 1000k trip ,they are superb in every way ,by all accounts they will give better mileage, tracking down a set of matching Cobras was a real challenge. Cheers. Steve

Rear is 200/55 and cost $360 the front cost $230...... all up .$590 fitted. Makes the world of difference to the handling from the square ones that were originally called Metzelers. Steve
