I was going to post this a while back and forgot. anyway, my wife (who is very short) was not comfortable with the placement of the pasenger foot pegs on the T bird. for that matter, the pegs, when down, would hit the bacl of my legs if I was 'walking' the bike in traffic. So I moved the pegs up 3 inches but at the same angle as the stock brackets. Seems to have worked out pretty good, the wife can now sit back against the back rest and so far the pegs haven't been hitting the back of my legs either.

Nice looking fab. You have access to a break press?

Also, on the picture. Are those Hardstreet bags? Easy Brackets? They look great, as well. Carry space is my next big project
before a road trip this fall.

And, is everyone noticing these self portraits that always seem to show up. Those of my SwingWings so me in the right mirror.

thanks. no press brake, those are machined from solid aluminum. they are 1/2 inch thick the full length.

the bags are tsukayu hard bags, no easy brackets just the mounting hardware that came with them (slightly modified). I am really happy with these bags, so far, quite roomy and they have been thru a lot of bad weather and some pretty long miles.

I suppose with the big chrome peices on these bikes that self portraits are unavoidable (at least with my camera skills)

Hi,
Did you manufacture these foot peg brackets or are they available off the shelf? If readily available, who makes them and are there any other makes and models around. I ride a Triumph Storm and my wife is very short and the passenger pegs are not very comfortable for her. There does not seem to be very much available here in New Zealand and her boots are starting to mark my new (and very expensive)pipes. Not something I really want. I would love to be able to increase the enjoyment level of riding pillion for my wife and to be able to raise the pegs so she is not straight legged on the bike would be great.

Our boy Fast Eddy has some. Not sure of how much the pegs are raised compared to these, but take a gander. And he's on here a lot....

Thanks for that bnz433. Certainly looks like what I want and buying them would be so much easier and cheaper than making my wife's legs longer. It turned out that buying these was the cheaper option so Fast Eddy and I have done business and (hopefully) they are winging their way to me as we speak.

The mule train finally arrived in New Zealand today with my footpeg extensions from Fast Eddy. Fitted them in minutes and the handbrake(wife) says they work a treat. If she's happy then I'm happy because now her boots aren't going to mark my expensive pipes.
Thanx again
